Week 1

Dec 1     Highlands Ranch @ Grandview
            Class 5A #3 Highlands Ranch travels to Grandview to take on the Wolves, one of the favorites in the Centennial League.

            Highlands Ranch used a suffocating half court trap to jump out to a 22-8 lead after the first quarter and never looked back.
            Easy steals led to layups and a balanced scoring attack with Katelyn McDaniel leading the way with 22pts. Four Falcons scored
            in double figures. Nicolette Halbleib had 13pts to lead Grandview.

Week 2

Dec 8    Brush @ Holy Family
           Class 3A's #1 vs #3. This will be a great early season battle between the Defending State Champs and a top contender

Dec 8    Mullen @ Monarch
           Two of the states best programs go toe to toe in this one. 4A's State runner-up travels to Monarch to face last season's
           5A runner-up. This should be a good one!

           Monarch led by 3 after one quarter of play and extended that lead in each of the next three quarters.
               players in double figures...Rebecca Richmond 18, Alexus Johnson 15 and Alex Evans 11. Mullen was led by Autumn Burts
           10 pts and Hayley Thompson's 9pts.
 
          
Dec 18   Kim @ Cheraw
             Class 1A's #1 ranked team travels to Cheraw to take on an always scrappy team. Kim, led by Haley Sheldon's 15ppg and
             Danielle Lewis's 11.7ppg will try to contain Kendyl Pearce coming off a 23 pt game.

             Kim raced to a 15-2 lead after the first quarter and held Cheraw to singal digits in each of the next 3 quarters.
             Kim was lead by Danielle Lewis' 19 and Shelby Goodrich's 12pts. Bre Beebe led Cheraw with 11pts.       
            
Week 4
Jan 8   Limon @ Genoa-Hugo
          #9 ranked Limon travels to the home of the always tough Pirates. This should be a competitive
          and entertaining game. Worth the Drive.

          Limon 35  Genoa-Hugo 21
          
Limon lead by 11 at the half and coasted to a 14 point victory. Limon's attack was balanced with
          Taylor Gallegos and Anna Ashcraft each scoring 8 pts. Lynn Poss led the Pirates with 6pts.
       
           
Week 5
Jan 12  Chaparral @ Monarch
           This should be a great one. Chaparral ranked #4 and Monarch #7 are both balanced scoring teams
           and will show multiple defensive looks.

           Monarch 64  Chaparral 56
           This was an intensity packed and closely contested game throughout. Monarch led by 1 at the half
           and made a little breathing room in the 4th to take the 8pt victory. The Coyotes were led by Alex 
           Evans with 14pts and Rebecca Richmond 11pts. 

Week 6
Jan 19  Longmont @ Broomfield
           Make the drive to Broomfield to see this one, it will be well worth it! Class 4A's top 2 ranked teams
           square off for a classic. This game features the dynasty that is Broomfield against the Trojans and 
           the classifications second ranked scorer in Jamie Katuna.

           Broomfield 42  Longmont  37
           This was a closely contested and at times heated game. The first real test for this year's edition of
           the Broomfield Eagles. Broomfield missed 6 freethrows in a row down the stretch to keep the Trojans
           hopes alive. Katie Nehf of Broomfield, playing after the death of her father to leukemia, blocked a Jamie
           Katuna shot attempt in the final minute to seal the victory. Longmont was led by Katuna's 16pts. Tyana
           Medina led Broomfield with 11pts.
             
Week 7

       
Week 8
Jan 29   Regis @ Chaparral
            Always a highly contested and spirited game. The young Raiders will take on an
            an experienced Wolverine team led by seniors Courtney Gallo and Lori Laboda.

            Chaparral  50   Regis 48
           
The Wolverines led by 3 at the half in a back and forth game. More of the same in
            
in the 3rd saw Regis enter the 4th quarter with a slight 2 pt. lead. Chaparral led, by
            Katie Hurlburt's 14pts and Lori Laboda's 12pts survived for the 2 pt victory. Regis
            was led by Marquell Dent 13pts and Megan O'Neil 12pts.



Week 9:
Feb. 4   Cheyenne Mtn @ Mesa Ridge
           This one is for the 4A Colo Springs Metro lead.  #4 Mesa Ridge led by
           the backcourt duo of Brandi Collins and Kaitlyn Mileto will host the
Indians
           with their trio of Janae VanderPloeg, Amanda Weber, and Connie Char. 
           This will be a good one!
